Shortcuts can be found all around Gielinor. By climbing cliff sides, crossing rivers and squeezing through crevices, it is possible to reach a destination more directly than by the alternative route. Nearly all shortcuts require the proper Agility level. There are no guaranteed rewards for using shortcuts, except that they will save you time, but they will sometimes give small amounts of Agility experience. All shortcuts, with the exception of some of the stiles, are P2P, and some require Ranged and Strength levels. Shortcuts are identified with a twisting green arrow icon () on the minimap.

16 September 2020 (update | poll)	There is now an Agility shortcut in Gu-Tanoth which will make it a bit easier to complete a particular Clue step. To unlock it, you'll need to have completed the Watchtower Quest and have 71 Agility.

A shortcut in the Brimhaven Dungeon leading to the red dragons that you can use at level 83 agility if you have completed the Karamja Elite Diary. A shortcut in the Kalphite Lair that you can use at level 86 agility if you have completed the Desert Elite Diary.
