Q: A wiki? For Near-Reality?
A: Yes. Everything on this site (or wiki) is entirely Near-Reality related. We've got skill guides and general guides, and much more. And the best thing about this wiki is that anyone can edit, including you! You do not have to be registered to edit, but you are encouraged to.
Q: When was Old School Near-Reality's last update and what was it?
A: 26 February, 2023
Q: I am a player from the previous Near-Reality, was my account username and password transferred from Near-Reality.org?
A: Yes, your username and password have been automatically migrated to the new website near-reality.com . Make sure to update your credentials and to contact staff if there are any issues.
Q: Who are the current staff for Near-Reality??

Q: As a new user will I need to register an account to play?
A: Yes, your account that is registered on the forums will be what you are using in-game!
Q: Will there be donator pins and will legal-RWT be allowed still?
A: Yes, in fact there will be multiple pins now ($10, $25, $50, and $100). Legal RWT will still be allowed via a staff Middle-Man with a 10% fee if 07 GP.
Q: Will this server have similarities with Near Reality 317?
A: Yes and no. We are full-fledged OSRS server, but we have included some of the nostalgic items and NPCs from Near Reality, for example the a version of the buffed Slayer Helmets and the Ganodermic Beast will be in Old School Near Reality and much more.
Q: Is there gambling?
A: Yes, all gambling methods: Flower Poker and Dicing are fully automated.
Q: Does this server have Summoning and Dungeoneering?
A: No, Primal, Gravite and Chaotic weaponry items have been phased out.
Q: Will the server be PK or Economy focused?
A: It will be a mix of the two, we have a lot of PKing content. The Ganodermic Beast, Larren's Chest/Keys, PKP/Blood money and much more. As for the economy, it is far more stable, we will have the majority of content OSRS has such as Chambers of Xeric and Theatre of Blood, with tons of unique content coming out still. We are currently beta testing Raids 3 for our players and are hoping to release soon!
Q: Is this the same source as Near Reality 317?
A: No, this is a brand new game.
Q: "I was a player in the Old Near-Reality when it was .org, does my donator rank transfer?"
A: Yes, however nothing else will be transferred unfortunately.
Q: "If I was banned on Near Reality 317, can I play Old School Near-Reality now?"
A: Yes, this is a totally renewed server, second chances are good to go!
