Template:Transcript list/doc

This is a documentation subpage for Template:Transcript list. It contains usage information, categories, and other content that is not part of the original template page.

Template:Transcript list invokes function main in Module:Transcript list using Lua.

This transcript template is used to note which NPCs participate in the transcript, specifically for use on event and quest transcripts.

The template is also used to populate Property:Transcript NPCs used to create the lists of dialogues an NPC speaks in Template:Hastranscript.

Uses

This produces:

This transcript involves dialogue with Bob, Carol, and the player.

To show an alternative text for an NPC, first enter the link then add the template for the pipe character {{!}} and then the alternative text as shown below:

This produces:

This transcript involves dialogue with Cave goblin and the player.

To disable the player character link use noplayer (not case sensitive) as one of the arguments.
